Hi, I'm Maryann.
After earning my bachelor's degree from the Ryerson School of Interior Design, I decided to explore the world of set design and film. Ryerson's internationally recognized program, coupled with my experience as a junior designer at Yabu Pushelberg Inc., equipped me with the skills to thrive in the fast-paced film industry, where I feel completely at home.
I've had the privilege of working on several exciting productions, including the upcoming Apple TV series Foundation, the Golden Globe- and Emmy-winning The Handmaid's Tale, and the upcoming Star Trek series, Strange New Worlds. I currently hold the position of First Assistant Art Director, specializing in set design.
Designing in 3D is my true passion and calling. The most rewarding challenges for me come when I transform a production designer’s vision into 3D visualizations, and again when I translate it into a buildable reality. Breaking down ideas and thoughts into their real-world components is something I’ll never tire of and as I continue to hone my skills and learn new techniques, I look forward to creating immersive environments with joy and dedication.
