Hi, I'm Maryann.
After pursuing and thoroughly enjoying a bachelors degree at the Ryerson School of Interior Design, I decided to venture into the world of set design and film. Ryerson's internationally acclaimed program as well as my work with Yabu Pushelberg Inc. as a junior designer prepared me for the extremely fast paced film industry and I feel completely at home.
I have now had the chance to work on multiple productions including the upcoming Apple TV series, “Foundation” as well as the Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning series, "The Handmaid's Tale" and Star Treks upcoming series, “Strange New Worlds”. I have now earned the title of first assistant art director specializing in set design.
I love to design in 3D. It is my calling. My most thrilling challenges come when I begin the 3D and rendered visualization of a design and again, when it is time translate a design to a buildable project. Breaking down an idea into its real world components will never ever get old and as I hone my skills and learn new ones, I will continue to manipulate and design environments with joy.
